Catholic African American Cultural Awareness Group of Okaloosa County
The 35th Annual Mass commemorating Black History Month will feature the Eglin Air Force Base Brotherhood Gospel Choir and the International Voices of Zion Praise Dancers, Eglin AFB Chapel. The principal celebrant is Gregory L Parkes, Bishop of Pensacola- Tallahassee Diocese with homilist: Reverend Anthony Bozeman, SSJ of St. Raymond-St. Leo Parish, New Orleans, LA.
Music during mass will be done by the combined choirs of St. Joseph Catholic, St. Anthony, St. Mary, and St. Peters under the direction of Mr. Gabriel Brown. The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Honor Guards of St. Peter Claver, Howard J. Lesch, FWB Assembly, Crestview Assembly, and Niceville/Bluewater Bay Assembly will also attend. A reception will follow in the Monsignor Mullins Parish Life Center.
